BAA Night Sept. 29

To:       BAA Football Coaches, Players and Parents

From:  Chad Nyberg and Matt Hanson

Date:    9/29/17

Re:       BAA NIGHT

In an attempt to connect our BAA football players with our high school football players we are having a BAA night during the Kennedy-Jefferson game this year.  The game is Friday, September 29th at 7:00pm.  The following is an outline of what will happen.

  1. BAA players wearing their BAA jerseys will be admitted free.  Those not wearing a jersey will not be admitted free.
  2. All BAA players must be accompanied by a parent or coach who will supervise their behavior.
  3. BAA Players living in the JEFFERSON area must sit on the home (WEST) side, and BAA players living in the KENNEDY area must sit on the visitor (EAST) side.
  4. The BAA players and coaches will gather at 1/2 time on the track near the player’s entrance.  They will form two lines from the track out onto the field, and the Kennedy/Jefferson players will run between the lines onto the field for the second half.  The BAA players and coaches should find their seats in the stands following the player’s entrance.

    1. The Kennedy BAA players will meet by the concession gate on the visitor’s sideline.  A BAA COACH will walk the BAA players around the field and line them up at the South players gate (form two lines on the track for the players to run through).
    2. The Kennedy BAA players will meet on the North players gate and form two lines on the field for the players to run through.
    3. At 1/2 time

                                                    i.     15:00  BAA Coaches meet with director (Chad Nyberg or Matt Hanson)

ii.     10:00  Players enter the field and line up as teams on the grass staging areas on the far Northwest side for Jefferson and the far Southeast side for Kennedy.  BAA Coaches help direct them to staging areas.

iii.     5:00  BAA Coaches direct they players to line up in front of the player entrance.  Kennedy Southwest and Jefferson Northwest gates respectively.

iv.     2:00 High School Players enter the stadium through BAA lines

                                                   v.     00  BAA coaches direct players off the field.

It’s important that we work together on this worthwhile promotion of football in Bloomington.  I can’t overemphasize the need for BAA coaches to direct and control the players so we have a successful night.  If you have any questions, please call us at the numbers above.

Thanks for your help.
