BAA Concession Stand Employee Job Description
The Concessions Worker is responsible for pleasantly greeting guests while filling food and beverage orders. The Worker will also operate the point-of-sale system and collect money for purchased food and beverage items.
Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for greeting guests and taking orders for food and beverage products.
- Responsible for preparing simple foods and beverages utilizing the company recipes and portion standards. Maintain the highest quality standards and portion consistency.
- Responsible for accepting payments from guests and making changes as necessary.
- Responsible for keeping the work area and surroundings clean using sanitation standards.
- Responsible for memorizing the product menu available at each concession location.
- Assisted in clean-up and breakdown of the concession area at the end of the event.
- Must demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance.
- Responsible for cooking and packaging food products prepared to order or kept warm until sold.
- Receives verbal orders from the front counter staff for food product requirements for guest orders.
- Responsible for maintaining quality and production standards on all menu items. Food must be fresh and of high quality when served to the guests.
- Maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
- Responsible for operating large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, rollers, and ovens.
- Ensures all work areas and equipment are clean, food products are properly stored, utensils are clean and put away, and the floor is swept and mopped at the end of the shift.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must be at least 16 years of age, with written parental permission to work until 11:30 pm on school nights. 15-year-olds will be scheduled to work during day hours for weekend tournaments.
- Ability to communicate clearly, business-likely, and respectfully with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests, generating a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment.
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
- Ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, percentages) related to POS cash/credit transactions, cash reconciliation, and product inventory.
- Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly.

BAA Concession Stand Lead Job Description
The Concessions Stand Lead is responsible for the complete operation of assigned concession stands. He or she trains personnel and supervises and directs the work activities of others. All Concessions Stand Leads report directly to the Concessions Supervisor of the assigned stand.
Essential Job Functions:
- The Concessions Stand Lead is responsible for the complete operation of assigned concession stands. The lead trains supervises and directs the personnel’s work activities. All Concessions Stand Leads report directly to the Concessions Supervisor of the assigned stand.
- Supervises and coordinates activities of stand workers. Assigns duties within the stand.
- Analyzes and resolves all problems with the assistance of the Concession Management Team.
- Oversees and participates in stand set-up and closing procedures.
- Ensures all workstations, the back of the stand, and the storeroom remain clean and sufficiently stocked—order replacement stock as necessary.
- Efficiently and accurately completes required paperwork.
- Investigate discrepancies in money and inventory.
- On an event basis, ensures accuracy of location bank, opening and closing inventory, product transfers, spoilage, and meals.
- Ensures accurate transaction totals are made at random for all cashiers.
- Keeps a quality appearance of the concession location at all times.
- Work with other stand personnel at closing to clean equipment and organize stock for the next event properly.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the management team.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Prior experience as a stand attendant or other food service worker is necessary
- Ability to interact with co-workers to ensure compliance with company service standards
- Must be able to handle cash and inventory efficiently and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team-orientated setting
- Must be able to work fluently in English
- Ability to work in an open-air environment during all climate conditions
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds, up and down stairs/ramps
- Ability to work all BAA Concession Stand events, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks, including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods.
- Must meet state and local health requirements for food handlers and beverage services.
Follow and encourage your team to follow all safety policies and procedures, including but not limited to looking for and reporting any unsafe work conditions and completing company-wide safety training and any additional job-specific safety training.
Report all safety incidents (injuries and illnesses) to the concessions management system on the same day that the safety incident has been reported to you.

Hours of Operation M—TH 6:30 pm—10:30 pm: The opening staff member arrives at 6 pm, and the closing staff member stays until 11 pm or until the kitchen is cleaned and locked up.
Weekend hours based on tournament schedules.
