Weather – School & Field Closings
IN THE EVENT OF SEVERE WEATHER PLEASE USE COMMON SENSE IN DETERMINING WHETHER THE GAME WILL BE PLAYED.
Please note – The Bloomington Schools RARELY close for weather. The City of Bloomington does close fields during rainy weather to prevent field damage. Notices of closings will be posted as soon as the word is given to us.
If lightning is visible, it is close enough, and the game must be called. Everyone must then remove themselves from the field. Baseball goes by the MN High School Rules which isn’t the same policy. If you need to talk to your team, do it in the parking lot, not on the field.
